Ok everyone, I want you to remain calm, just because we have a radio star in our family does not mean we should loose our heads, act like idiots and think we're something special.
That being said, WOOOHOOO !!!! WE ROCK!!! We know a radio Star in Japan!!!! (and I married her!)... Haha! Who else knows someone on National radio in Japan, huh? huh?
Yeah thats what I thought, NO ONE!! Mwuahahahahha!!!!!!
Ehem.. right... As I was saying, our own Crista McInnis was on NHK Radio (the equivalent of CBC or Radio Canada in Japan) about two weeks ago for an interview on Canada. They talked about what Crista likes in Japan, Japanese culture, Canadian food, maple sirup, ice wine and so on. About half-way through the show the interviewer asked Crista to choose some groovy Canadian music, she made an excellent choice with the Bedouin Soundclash's "When The Night Feels My Song" If you like it, here's the link to their website. We saw them in concert in Tokyo a few months ago and they gave a great show.
By the way, not that anyone would doubt it, but Crista's Japanese is something to be reckoned with, I was truly impressed with her Nihongo (japanese) abilities in the interview. Not only does she sound fluent as all heck, she also sounds very classy. But don't take my word for it, the proof in the pudding is that she is getting gifts from Japanese admirers sent to the embassy. No joke. (I'm not jealous, I get to eat the cookies they send her)
(There's a 6 second silence at the begining of the track)
